The gold cyanidation process is one of the most used methods to refine gold, which is especially suitable for low grade sand gold or gold ore powder. The chemical properties of gold are very stable. However, there is a characteristic of gold that when introducing air in the aqueous solution of potassium (sodium) cyanide, the gold in the ore will dissolved and become recoverable gold. Supplying metal zinc in the treatment liquid, the gold element could be replaced and returned to gold. Collect the replacement product, melt it, and remove the residue on the surface, finally golden high-purity gold could be produced. |
